Nokia MO.I.P. (2007)

In cooperation with San Francisco based design and technology firm STAMEN we carried out a research project to understand how Nokia could support users in the fluent control of multiple, interwoven communications in an "always-on" mobile IP-world. Assuming that in the future communication will take place continuously and on multiple channels: how can the design of devices and interfaces improve in order to minimize complexity?

More precisely: how can design help to simultaneously manage your phone calls and e-mails, text messages, your facebook, twitter, flickr, blogger, myspace and whatever other accounts you have, assuming that you would always be online? What if in the future all these different communication platforms merge into a single one?
